Process Optimization Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with site operations teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs, scrap, and set-up time.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading initiatives that enhance productivity and support quality enhancements.
  • Solve complex process issues associated with equipment and/or product performance.
  • Support safety initiatives, programs, and daily requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing and product development strategies.
  • Lead cost-out initiatives on specific products to lower costs without compromising quality, thus improving margins.
  • Conduct process and equipment evaluations to optimize operating parameters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with reputable vendors/suppliers to drive facility-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement lean sigma tools to improve manufacturing and support processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in process optimization, lean sigma, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
