**Senior Accounts Officer Role Summary:**

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounts professional to join our team as a Senior Accounts Officer. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems and processes.

Main Responsibilities:

- **Weekly Tax Withholding Reports**: Prepare and submit weekly reports detailing the withholding of income tax from salaries.

- **PSID Preparation and Submission**: Ensure the timely preparation and submission of Payment Slip Identification (PSID) for income tax deposits.

- **Monthly Tax Deposits**: Oversee the monthly deposit of income tax deducted from salaries into the government's account.

- **Party-Wise Tax Summaries**: Provide detailed summaries of tax deductions and deposits on a monthly basis, highlighting any discrepancies or concerns.

- **Zero-Rated Purchases**: Accurately record and report zero-rated purchases of imported supplies.

- **Reduced Rate Certificates**: Maintain up-to-date records of reduced-rate certificates and undertakings related to imported supplies.

- **Quarterly Withholding Statements**: Submit quarterly withholding statements to the relevant authorities.

- **Annual Party/Salary Statements**: Prepare and submit annual statements detailing the withholding of income tax from salaries and other sources.

- **Withholding Tax Rates**: Apply the correct withholding tax rates on all payments made to suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

- **Tax Certificates**: Issue certificates of deduction and deposit of tax to our business partners and employees.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
