Procurement Specialist Role Description

This position involves coordinating the purchasing process from start to finish, ensuring that all purchases are made efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to analyze complex data, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the procurement process, including researching suppliers, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts.
  2. Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
  3. Supervise and train purchasing team members.
  4. Analyze market trends and supply options.
  5. Develop and implement procurement plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in accounting or business management preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
