Cybersecurity Officer Job Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Officer to lead our security strategy, ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS, managing data security protocols, and protecting financial transactions from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Strategy and Compliance: Develop and implement cybersecurity policies for our fintech ecosystem, ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and UAE financial regulations.
- Cyber Threat Monitoring and Response: Monitor and respond to cyber threats, fraud attempts, and security breaches in a timely manner.
- AWS Environment Security: Secure AWS environments, API gateways, and cloud-based databases to protect against unauthorized access.
- Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks.
- Identity and Access Management: Implement identity & access management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and encryption to secure user access and data.
- DevOps Collaboration: Work with DevOps to ensure secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud configurations.
- Employee Training: Train employees on security best practices and phishing prevention to minimize security risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Masters in Cybersecurity, IT Security, or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, SIEM tools, intrusion detection, and endpoint security.
- Experience securing AWS environments, API security, and cloud computing.
- Ability to respond to cybersecurity incidents and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Strong understanding of fintech security threats and fraud detection techniques.
Work Details:
Monday-Friday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, Khayaban e Ittehad, Phase 6, Karachi. Tax-Free salary.
