Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficientSales Engineerwith acybersecurity backgroundto join our team. The ideal candidate will have3+ years of experience in sales/solutions engineeringand a strong understanding of cybersecurity products, services, and industry trends. The Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales and technical teams to deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions to clients, ensuring seamless integration and maximum security.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose relevant cybersecurity solutions.
- Provide pre-sales technical support, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept presentations.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, solution briefs, and proposals to potential clients.
- Assist in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) by providing technical expertise.
- Work closely with clients to assess their cybersecurity posture and recommend suitable solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats to provide informed guidance to customers.
- Act as a bridge between the sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure the successful deployment of solutions.
- Support post-sales activities by providing customer training and resolving technical queries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical pre-saleswithin the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, solutions, and technologies such as SIEM, endpoint security, network security, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with security vendors and products (e.g., Fortinet, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Cisco, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such asCISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
