The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing migration strategies for Hadoop to modern data platforms like Teradata Vantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Migration Expertise: Develop and implement efficient migration strategies for Hadoop to Teradata Vantage.
  • Technical Understanding: Have in-depth knowledge of Hadoop components such as HDFS, Yarn, Spark, Hive, HBase, Kafka, Nifi, and Spark Streaming.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with customers to understand their existing Hadoop ecosystem and develop a tailored migration plan.
Duties and Deliverables:
  • Project Delivery: Ensure successful delivery of Hadoop migration projects.
  • Code Quality: Maintain high-quality code and ensure functional validations are met.
  • Solution Implementation: Collaborate with Technical Leads to implement the solution as per design specifications.
About You:
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of IT work experience, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Data Analytics Experience: Minimum 2 years of data analytics related experience.
  • Hadoop Ecosystem: Minimum 2 years' experience in the Hadoop ecosystem.
