Product Owner

We are seeking a Product Owner to drive the development and enhancement of digital products and solutions based on product manager long term vision and strategy. The Product Owner will collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and UX designers to define, prioritize, and deliver sprint backlogs that align with business objectives and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the requirements gathering process with end users, customer leadership, subject matter experts, and internal teams and leadership
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer community and the software development life cycle teams
  • Owns product issues and backlog based on understanding of product strategy and requirements
  • Lead design and refinement meetings
  • Actively owns refinement of acceptance criteria
  • Manages product artifacts (personas, user journey maps, workflow diagrams)
  • Contributes to release goals based on knowledge of user base and feasibility
  • Manage product releases

The Product Owner will work closely with the Product Manager to:

  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships: Support, Documentation, SDLC team and Leadership
  • Analyze customer problems, how they relate to product strategy, and how they can be solved on a product's roadmap
  • Track release progress and mitigate risks
  • Develops an understanding of product, industry, and market, including product position, customer needs, owning use cases for product, and problems being solved (why and how)
  • Subject expert for product area
  • Lead internal trainings with product success team
  • Work with the success team to write product documentation
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:Education:
  • College degree in Business, Technology or related preferred
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in software development planning and analysis Strong analytical and organizational skills
Credentials:
  • Experience with agile/scrum preferred
  • Product Owner professional certification preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
