Job Title: Financial Leadership Position

About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Chief Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial leadership group, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department and ensuring the accurate recording, classification, and summarization of daily financial transactions.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective procedures for managing financial data, including developing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and schedules.
• Generate comprehensive financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow) on a regular basis, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
• Maintain strict control measures over cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee payroll preparation, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee salaries and benefits.
• Coordinate periodic stock takes, ensuring inventory levels are accurately reflected in financial records.
• Classify and record assets in a timely manner, ensuring their accurate representation in financial statements.
• Comply with and maintain ISO 9002 requirements, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in managing an accounting department, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficient use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Experience in presenting financial statements in an audit environment, with a strong understanding of audit procedures and requirements.
• Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant certification is highly desirable.
