Job Overview

This position involves designing and implementing the core back-end application and functionality for a VMX display and interactive communication platform.

Key responsibilities include managing existing features such as content management, channels programming, scheduling, permissions, account management, reporting, and analytics.

New Development Focus

The successful candidate will focus on developing new features and enhancements, concentrating on innovation for the next 12 months. This includes work on sensors, meta-tags, visual search, inbound APIS, and outbound API development.

Collaboration with the Business team will be essential for product specifications, UX/UI, front-end team for integrations, and Operations team for UAT.

Essential Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional full-time work experience in a similar role.
  • C# on .Net Framework 4.8 / .NET Core with SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, Entity Framework, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core.
  • Design and implementation of RESTFul Services, SOA.
  • Object-oriented analysis, design & programming.
  • Awareness of NuGet and surrounding ecosystem.
  • Experience with Subversion or Git.
  • Awareness of application and API security best-practices.
  • Exposure to continuous integration / continuous deployment.
  • Cursory familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
