Key Responsibilities
  • To perform repairs and maintenance of electrical installations, systems and equipment ensuring safety and efficiency minimizing breakdowns.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Repairing and maintaining equipment such as LT & HT switchgear under supervisor guidance.
  • Assisting the supervisor with operational maintenance during shift duties.
  • Monitoring voltage and current of electrical systems for reliability.
  • Filling maintenance work request slips with details of work and materials used.
  • Following safety protocols.
  • Performing shift duties as required.
Requirements
  • Secondary school education is preferred.
  • 6–8 years of related work experience is required.
  • An Electric Wireman's License is preferred.
  • A strong knowledge of electrical equipment such as LT & HT transformers, switchgears, controls, power distribution and lighting systems.
  • A basic understanding of fire alarm and call systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of plant preventive maintenance systems.
  • The ability to read and write simple Urdu and English.
