Job Title: Test Engineer Specialist.

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual for the role of Test Engineer Specialist. This position involves ensuring the quality and stability of new features and releases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for writing functional tests based on system and business requirements, performing daily tests, and conducting thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

This person will also follow through the complete test cycle from bug identification to resolution, collaborate with developers and designers to collect essential information for optimum QA coverage, and provide regular feedback regarding the quality of implemented features.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough testing of new features and releases.
  2. Test Execution: Perform daily tests to identify defects and ensure the quality and stability of new features and releases.
  3. Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure that existing functionality is not impacted.
  4. Defect Reporting and Tracking: Follow through the complete test cycle from bug identification to resolution by reporting defects and tracking their progress.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with developers and designers to collect essential information for optimum QA coverage.
  6. Feedback: Provide regular feedback regarding the quality of implemented features.

Requirements:

  • Software Quality Assurance Methodologies: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Bug Tracking Tools: Knowledge of bug tracking tools is mandatory.
  • Documentation Skills: Good documentation skills with the ability to create professional reports.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience in the Agile methodology.
  • Test Automation: Experience with a code automation framework and ability to write automated tests.
  • Testing Techniques: Hands-on experience with both white box and black-box testing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Code Review: Ability to review code for quality and adherence to standards.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
