Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We seek an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist who will be responsible for designing and implementing complex Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Infrastructure environments. This role involves maintaining, extending, and building automated Continuous Improvement (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines. The successful candidate will adopt engineering best practices to deliver higher quality and scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Design and develop complex cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Maintain and extend automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Adopt engineering best practices.
  • Work in an Agile environment.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Development, and QA functions.
  • Implement containerized workflows using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Istio, and other open-source solutions.

Requirements include Linux administration skills, including software packaging, distribution, and configuration. The candidate should also have experience with a range of Git-based solutions, Terraform, Helm Charts, and config management tools like Ansible. Understanding of networking fundamentals, including Linux network configuration, is also required. Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and cloud technologies is essential. Excellent writing and communication skills, as well as demonstrable troubleshooting and debugging ability, are necessary.
