DevOps Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to help shape the future of our infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure using cutting-edge DevOps practices and tools.
• Implement configuration management to ensure consistency across environments.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management:

• We use IaC tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and AWS CloudFormation to develop and maintain infrastructure.
• Our configuration management strategy involves implementing tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to ensure consistency across environments.
• We utilize Git for version control of all infrastructure code and implement GitOps practices.

Cloud and On-Premises Infrastructure Management:

• We design, deploy, and manage services across multi-cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Our goal is to optimize resource utilization, cost, and performance in both cloud and on-premises infrastructures.
• We implement hybrid cloud solutions that enable seamless integration between on-premises and cloud resources.

Containerization and Orchestration:

• We design and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• We set up and maintain Kubernetes clusters on cloud platforms (e.g., AKS, EKS, GKE) and on-premises (e.g., Rancher, OpenShift).
• We implement service mesh solutions like Istio or Linkerd for advanced traffic management and security.

CID/CD and Automation:

• We design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• We automate build, test, and deployment processes for both frontend and backend applications.
• We develop custom scripts and tools to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Monitoring, Logging, and Observability:

• We implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and cloud-native monitoring services.
• We design and maintain logging infrastructures that provide insights across the entire application stack.
• We implement distributed tracing solutions for complex, microservices-based architectures.

Security and Compliance:

• We implement security best practices in IaC, including encryption, access controls, and network security.
• We ensure compliance with industry standards through automated security checks and audits.
• We implement and manage secrets management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault).

Performance Optimization and Scalability:

• We design and implement auto-scaling solutions for applications and infrastructure.
• We optimize application performance through caching, CDN implementation, and database tuning.
• We conduct load testing and implement performance improvements based on results.

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:

• We work closely with development teams to implement DevOps best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• We provide training and documentation on modern DevOps tools and practices.
• We participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in at least one IaC tool.
• Extensive experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proven experience managing multi-cloud environments.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications.
• Experience with service mesh technologies.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools.
• Experience with chaos engineering and site reliability practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal tech blog.
