Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

This role is ideal for a skilled professional seeking a challenging opportunity in mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems including plumbing, HVAC, firefighting, and vertical transport.
  • Perform calculations and analyses to determine equipment sizing and efficiency.
  • Evaluate technical submittals and drawings from contractors and vendors.
  • Generate detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical systems.
  • Manage site-related issues and resolve conflicts with structural and architectural elements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Professional registration as a certified engineer.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in mechanical design, with at least 3 years in a lead or management role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Revit.
Accountabilities
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical designers.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of technical drawings and specifications.
  • Develop and present design options and cost estimates to stakeholders.
  • Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
