Optimizing human capital is a crucial function for any organization. As a Strategic HR Manager, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

The ideal candidate will support operations by supervising staff, planning, organizing, and implementing administrative systems. This includes overseeing the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff, identifying opportunities for improvement, and resolving problems.

Key responsibilities include managing the work of reporting Human Resources staff, encouraging their ongoing development, and developing and monitoring annual objectives that align with company goals, including employee recognition, sports teams, community events, philanthropic giving, and benefits administration.

You will also select and supervise Human Resources consultants, attorneys, and training specialists, and coordinate company use of insurance brokers, insurance carriers, pension administrators, and other outside sources.

A key aspect of this role is conducting a continuing study of all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments.

Additionally, you will lead the development of department goals, objectives, and systems, providing leadership for Human Resources strategic planning.

Establishing HR departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goals is another important responsibility.

Finally, you will manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department, prepare periodic reports for management, and develop and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to align the workforce with company objectives.
