About the Role

We seek a talented Software Engineer to join our skilled Engineering team and contribute to building groundbreaking solutions for the best online platform for Diamonds, Gems, Jewellery, and beyond.

The engineer will solve complex data-related problems, architect, and build solutions querying and sending huge amounts of data over the network while considering performance optimizations, memory consumption, and CPU usage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Feature development: Develop new and exciting features.
  • Application stability: Improve and scale existing features on the application.
  • Issues Support and Resolution: Address and support issues in local environments and production.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate across departments for requirements, signoff, acceptance testing, and beyond.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement code and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the engineering function.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
  • 3-6 years of experience in software development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or IT.
  • Majority of experience working with Node Js.
  • Good database skills, proficient in writing SQL queries.
  • Good understanding of databases both SQL and No-SQL.
  • Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
  • Knowledge of messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
  • Experience with unit testing using Jest is a plus.
  • Excellent quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Good level of English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical/problem solver.
  • Takes ownership and responsibility.
