We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Software Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for building world-class software products that deliver value to customers. Your primary focus will be on architecting, designing, and developing cloud-based software applications that meet the needs of our rapidly growing businesses in multiple countries.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, and Strategy, to deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and direction to the software engineering team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality products.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with product owners to define and deliver product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Team Management: Hire, train, and manage a high-performing software engineering team, focusing on growth, development, and productivity.
  • Culture and Excellence: Foster a culture of engineering excellence, encouraging continuous learning, innovation, and improvement within the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, including performance management and people management.
  • Strong understanding of free and open-source software development, scalability, and high availability systems.
  • Experience in operations and managing live production applications.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful service design and API design.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS experience.
  • Kubernetes experience.
  • High-traffic and large-scale web product experience.
