Radiology Department Support Specialist

As a Radiology Department Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department. Your primary responsibility will be to transport patients between radiology departments and other areas of the hospital as per policy, maintaining their comfort and dignity throughout the process.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Matriculation or Intermediate qualification and one year of related experience in healthcare services. You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that every interaction is professional, respectful, and empathetic.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients between radiology departments and other areas of the hospital, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Verify patient identification to ensure correct individuals are being transported.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and properly attired during transportation.
- Maintain patient dignity by providing hospital gowns when necessary.
- Retrieve patient charts if required in radiology.
- Provide training and guidance to new staff members during orientation.
- Monitor linen supplies to ensure timely replenishment.
- Coordinate the transportation of supplies and consumables to other departments and off-site centers.
- Perform additional duties assigned by your supervisor as needed.
- A Matriculation or Intermediate qualification is preferred with one year of related experience in healthcare services.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and write simple notes, instructions, and labels in English and Urdu.
