The Officer in the Facilitation Department is responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and upkeep of university facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
The role involves coordinating and performing a range of maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment. Key areas include:
- Maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utilities;
- Safety inspections and risk assessments;
- Cleaning and sanitation protocols;
- Mechanical and electrical systems management;
- Supply chain and procurement processes.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving, combined with excellent communication skills, is essential for success in this role.
