Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Visualization Specialist to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions utilizing Microsoft Power BI.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling, visualization, and reporting principles, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Modeling and Transformation: Design and implement data models within Power BI using Power Query for extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
  • Dashboard and Report Development: Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports employing Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
  • DAX Formulas: Write DAX formulas for crafting calculated columns, measures and custom logic for data analysis and reporting.
  • Data Source Integration: Connect to and integrate data from multiple sources including databases, cloud services and flat files.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports and dashboards.
Required Skills
  • Power BI Components: Thorough knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power Query and Power BI Service.
  • DAX Formulas: Strong ability to write complex DAX calculations.
  • SQL: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Data Visualization: Strong skills in creating effective data visualizations.
  • Data Integration: Experience with connecting and integrating data from diverse sources.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
