Job Title: Business Data Insights Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in advanced analytics and machine learning to join our team as a Business Data Insights Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, with experience in leveraging SAS Viya to drive business decisions and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
  • Predictive Modeling: Develop predictive models using SAS Viya to address business needs, focusing on customer segmentation, churn prediction, fraud detection, and risk management.
  • Feature Engineering: Design and implement feature engineering strategies to enhance model performance and accuracy.
  • Visualization and Reporting: Present findings and insights through clear and actionable visualizations and reports using SAS Visual Analytics and other reporting tools.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Data Science Expertise: Strong expertise in data science, including machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
  • SAS Viya Experience: Significant experience working with SAS Viya, with a focus on cloud-native capabilities and scalable data processing.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
