Job Overview:

Sr. Database Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Database Developer to join our team in designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions that support our software products.

This role requires expertise in SQL Server 2012+ and experience in complex data modeling, development, and performance tuning.

The ideal candidate will have advanced analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable data models and robust database architecture.
  • Create and enhance stored procedures, views, and functions to support application functionality and performance.
  • Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot databases for high performance and data concurrency.
  • Implement ETL processes and support business intelligence initiatives through tools like SSIS and SSAS.
  • Manage database backup/restore strategies, including replication, mirroring, and log shipping.
  • Utilize MongoDB, Cassandra, and other NoSQL databases to meet specific project requirements.
  • Collaborate on version control, deploying changes across QA and production environments.
Required Skills:
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Advanced skills in SQL Server 2012+
  • Experience in complex data modeling, development, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with Big Data, Python, BI, and other evolving technologies
  • SQL Server certification or other relevant credentials
