Project Director

Ace Money Transfer is seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Manager to lead our development team.

• Transformation Strategy: Develop, schedule, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the project from inception to delivery.
• Team Guidance: Guide the team as an agile coach on best practices, ensuring they deliver high-quality results on time.
• Leadership: Lead the development team by ensuring timely and effective execution of tasks, focusing on removing roadblocks to their work, mentoring them, and maximizing organizational resources.
• Empowerment: Foster empowerment of each team member, ensuring meaningful contributions to the development process.
• Pace and Quality Control: Encourage sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team, maintaining efficient workflows.

For success in this role, you will need:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
2. Proven leadership and communication skills.
3. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
4. At least 6-7 years of experience in Project Management using Agile methodologies.
5. Hands-on coding/development experience.
6. Proficiency in programming languages (.Net/C#/PHP).
7. Strong understanding of database scaling, SQL/MySQL, query optimization.
8. LAMP stack management and deployments.
9. Familiarity with application deployments, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, Linux, DNS, CDNs, cloud, and application scaling.
10. Experience with Project Management tools like Jira.
11. Geographically distributed development teams coordination.
12. Excellent track record of delivering medium to large scale products successfully.
13. Strong background in requirement gathering & system analysis.
