Nursing Assistant Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and caring individual to join our team as a Nursing Assistant. This role involves providing top-notch patient care and assisting our nursing staff in various tasks.
Main Responsibilities- Dress professionally and maintain a neat appearance when interacting with colleagues, patients, and visitors.
- Sustain a clean and organized dispensary and biomedical equipment area.
- Seek permission from the duty senior before handling any medical equipment.
- Supply sterile and sanitized equipment to staff for patient care purposes.
- Contribute to preventing infections by adhering strictly to infection control policies.
- Assist nursing staff in moving patients and providing care.
- Ensure equipment at the duty station is well-maintained, including items like computers and incubators.
- Develop strong working relationships with colleagues through effective communication.
- Highlight the significance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively with registered nurses to provide comprehensive care.
- Organize tasks effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
- Track inventory of equipment received from CSSD accurately.
