Radiographer

The Aga Khan University Hospital provides access to quality healthcare through its outreach services.

These services offer primary to secondary care to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan.

We cater to children, adults, and elderly patients with general health checks or specific disease consultations.

We provide a range of specialty clinics, including family medicine, internal medicine, endocrinology, dermatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and physiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiological procedures as prescribed by clinicians and maintain accurate records.
  • Demonstrate basic competencies in processing images and identify minor issues.
  • Maintain relevant equipment and make minor adjustments as needed, reporting any faults or breakdowns to the supervisor.
  • Perform daily quality assurance activities.
  • Provide patient education and preparatory information on pre/post radiological procedures.
  • Follow safety procedures, including radiation safety for patients and staff.
  • Comply with departmental standards and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An intermediate degree in science stream subjects or B.Sc. with traineeship in Radiography from a recognized hospital.
  • Certified as a radiologic technologist/technician from a recognized Institute.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Radiographer is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
