We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing superior care to patients in the assigned area by making appropriate assessments, diagnoses, and performing complex procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing ultrasound procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Assisting radiologists in special and interventional procedures
  • Participating in patient management under the supervision of a radiologist
  • Ensuring quality time is given to patients during ultrasound procedures
  • Providing education materials to staff and students on ultrasound procedures and protocols
  • Managing daily rosters and leaves to ensure seamless work operations
  • Overseeing medical surgical supplies for the ultrasound section
  • Maintaining proper functioning of ultrasound equipment
  • Participating in audits related to the ultrasound section
  • Enhancing competencies in a clinical setting under faculty and staff supervision
  • Engaging in educational activities such as Grand Rounds and Journal Clubs
  • Adhering to infection control practices in the workplace
Requirements
  • MBBS degree or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 10+ years of post-MBBS experience in a large hospital or busy ultrasound department
  • Ability to understand patient perspectives and concerns
  • Capacity to perform or supervise independently
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology equipment
  • Familiarity with patient positioning, film processing, and record keeping
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with faculty, staff, patients, and their families
  • Able to make informed decisions, develop solutions, and prevent recurrence
  • Quick thinking and ability to act in crisis situations
  • Counseling skills for adapting content, style, tone, and medium to suit diverse audiences
  • Good written communication skills for patient care documentation
