Procurement Specialist Position:

We are looking for a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading the implementation of the procurement strategy for our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement the portfolio procurement strategy.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to analyze their capabilities and develop long-term supplier strategies.
  3. Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve savings and cash targets through effective market analysis, strategic planning, and negotiation skills.
  4. Create a comprehensive savings pipeline for the portfolio and coordinate with relevant teams for execution.
  5. Implement contracts and ensure high-quality services are delivered to sourcing units in Pakistan.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance of RSP, Contracting, Quality, and Service.
  7. Promote portfolio initiatives (e.g., ASA/AMA, Resilience, market development, etc.) to increase leverage and strengthen market connections.
  8. Support innovation projects by collaborating with R&D teams, providing market insights, supplier capabilities, and capacity.
  9. Partner with the finance community to provide accurate price forecasting, incorporating market trends and future outlook to inform business decisions.
  10. Identify opportunities for improvement and continuously seek new ways to enhance performance.
  11. Foster close collaboration with the global team to integrate local player insights into the overall strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional working, affinity, or working experience with/in R&D teams.
