Ceramic Crafts Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Ceramic Crafts Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and installing various types of tile installations in residential and commercial properties.

You will work with different types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, and marble, to create beautiful and functional surfaces for floors, walls, and other areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Measure and prepare surfaces for tiling projects
  • Cut and shape tiles to fit specific areas
  • Mix and apply adhesives to secure tiles in place
  • Install tiles in a variety of patterns
  • Repair and replace damaged or broken tiles
  • Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles
  • Apply grout between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Clean and polish installed tiles to achieve a smooth finish
  • Coordinate with other tradespeople on tiling projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role
  • Knowledge of different tile materials and installation techniques
  • Effective use of tile cutting tools
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and layout
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy objects
  • Good communication skills for teamwork and client interaction
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed
Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary of $1400 per month, excluding accommodation. Additional benefits may be offered based on experience.
