The New York Life Accelerated Path to Leadership Program offers a unique opportunity for driven individuals to propel their careers into management. The program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed as a manager, including leadership and team management, sales and business growth, and compliance and ethical standards.
About the Role

- We are looking for motivated individuals who can answer yes to one of the following questions:
- Do you have sales or managerial experience in another industry?
- Have you previously run your own career?
- Do you have an MBA or other equivalent degree?
Your Career Journey
You will start off as a financial professional, learning how to sell our products, build client relationships, and meet specific requirements before transitioning into a management role. You will undergo a six-month intensive training program designed to prime you for success as a manager. Throughout your career journey, you will continue to have opportunities to grow and be promoted to increasingly senior levels of management.
Sales and Business Growth
As a financial professional, you will be accountable for meeting sales targets and driving the overall business growth of your unit or office. This includes setting goals, tracking progress, and implementing strategies to increase revenue. You will also be responsible for recruitment and development, attracting, hiring, and developing new agents and financial professionals.
Leadership and Team Management
You will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and motivation to your team. This includes conducting performance reviews, organizing training sessions, and fostering a collaborative and productive culture. You will also ensure that all agents adhere to New York Life's policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Benefits
- You will receive income that is commission-based when you begin with New York Life as a financial professional.
- If you meet the requirements and approvals to become an Associate Partner, you will receive a salary. Plus, you will be eligible for certain bonuses and other incentives based on the performance of agents in your unit, including additional compensation related to the agents you recruit and develop (called R&Ds).
- You will also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, life, long-term disability, and accidental death and dismemberment coverages, a pension plan, and a 401(k) savings plan.
