Job Title: Piping Draftsman/Designer
We are seeking a skilled Piping Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing piping layouts, isometric drawings, and pipe support drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Plant 3D.

About the Role:
This role involves working closely with mechanical, civil, electrical, and process teams to ensure alignment and clash-free design. You will be responsible for interpreting engineering specifications, piping material specifications (PMS), and vendor drawings. Additionally, you will participate in design reviews, model walk-throughs, and site surveys as required. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a DAE degree and certification in drafting. A minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in piping drafting/designing is required. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, 3D, etc.) is essential. Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, API, etc.) is also required. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are necessary for this role. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also expected.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed piping layout drawings, isometric drawings, and pipe support drawings using CAD software. - Develop and update P&IDs, plot plans, general arrangements (GAs), and fabrication drawings. - Coordinate with mechanical, civil, electrical, and process teams to ensure alignment and clash-free design. - Interpret engineering specifications, piping material specifications (PMS), and vendor drawings. - Participate in design reviews, model walk-throughs, and site surveys as required. - Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.). - Generate material take-offs (MTOs) and assist with procurement documentation. - Implement design changes and revisions as per project requirements and mark-ups. - Maintain documentation and revision control in line with company standards and QA/QC procedures.
