GBV Case Manager Position

The GBV Case Manager will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support services to survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) and vulnerable women. This position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in GBV case management, psychosocial support, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide age-appropriate and survivor-centred GBV Case Management services to survivors of GBV and vulnerable women and girls, in line with the Inter Agency GBV Case Management Guidelines.
  • Coordinate closely with the Casework Supervisor and seek support when required.
  • Participate in regular case review meetings and coaching sessions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience working with survivors of GBV and vulnerable populations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to core principles of GBV programming, including gender equality and survivor-centered support services.
  • Familiarity with government and NGO service providers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, remain flexible, and apply experience and guidance to evolving challenges.
