Quality Systems Analyst

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems that align with business, regulatory, and customer requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement quality systems that meet business, regulatory, and customer requirements
  2. Monitor and track alignment to quality standards and initiatives
  3. Ensure effective deployment of quality systems
  4. Perform periodic checks for quality system application
  5. Use statistical methods, quality tools, and computer-generated reports to improve process capability
  6. Monitor and report quality management system metrics
  7. Lead and participate in quality system improvement initiatives
  8. Conduct internal audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards and regulatory requirements
  9. Determine root causes of quality issues and develop corrective actions and recommendations
  10. Suggest process changes as appropriate
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in quality systems
  • Experience in FDA-regulated industries
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and familiarity with ISO 14971
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good planning, multi-tasking, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated track record of completing projects on time and achieving goals
  • ASQ certification and/or Six Sigma training desired
