Job Description:

As a highly experienced backend engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing maintainable backend systems using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems in a collaborative environment
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring versioning and scalability
  • Implement and maintain background tasks and scheduled jobs using Celery
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

To succeed in this role:

You will need strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs, as well as expertise in Celery for background task processing. You should also have a solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and experience with Docker and containerized development workflows.
