Telesales Officer - Solar Sales Representative

We are seeking a proactive and articulate sales professional to join our dynamic solar sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting potential clients, educating them about our solar solutions, answering their questions, and closing sales.

About the Role:
  1. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and a strong understanding of solar energy solutions.
  2. You will handle and follow up leads generated from all channels of marketing, especially website enquiries & social media marketing leads.
  3. Engage in cold calling to potential customers to introduce our solar solutions and explain the benefits clearly and convincingly.
  4. Qualify leads and identify customer needs to tailor sales approaches.
  5. Schedule appointments for the sales team to follow up with potential clients.
  6. Answer customer inquiries and provide detailed information about our products.
  7. Coordinate with the Sales team for follow-up of enquiries, proposals, deal closing, invoicing, and payment recovery.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of the solar industry and our product offerings.
  9. Update customer information accurately in the CRM system.
  10. Achieve lead targets and contribute to the company's growth.
  11. Handle customer objections and provide appropriate solutions.
  12. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively engage with potential clients via phone and email to educate them about our solar solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and tailor sales approaches to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update CRM accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure seamless follow-up of enquiries, proposals, and deals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product offerings to provide informed solutions to customers.
Requirements:
  • 1.5-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a Solar EPC company.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or in a similar sales role, preferably in the solar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts simply and understandably.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and telephony systems.
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
