Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Reporting, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented reporting, SFAS rules, Confidentiality, Time Management, Data Entry Management, and General Math Skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for compiling and analyzing account information, documenting financial transactions, and providing current financial summaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and analyze account information to prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.
  • Document financial transactions by accurately entering account details.
  • Analyze accounting options and recommend financial actions to ensure optimal decision-making.
  • Provide current financial summaries by collecting relevant information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  • Audit financial documents to substantiate transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement effective accounting controls by recommending policies and procedures.
  • Mentor accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and providing guidance.
  • Resolve financial discrepancies by analyzing account information and identifying solutions.
  • Maintain the security of financial data by following established internal controls.
  • Verify documentation and initiate disbursements for timely payments.
  • Respond to accounting procedure inquiries by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws by staying up-to-date on legislation and advising management on necessary actions.
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Protect customer confidentiality and safeguard operations by maintaining discretion with financial information.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional networks.
