Project Manager - Hydropower

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the Balakot Hydropower Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases from design to commissioning, supervising resource allocation, tracking progress, and performing budget control.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Primavera P6 and advanced knowledge of project lifecycle, critical path method (CPM), and ability to develop and monitor detailed schedules. They will also generate progress reports, incorporate changes into the schedule, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment.

The following qualifications are required:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is typically required. A Master's degree or specialized certifications in project management or construction management is an advantage.
  • Experience: More than 12 years of experience with project planning, preferably on dams and hydropower projects.
  • Necessary Skills:
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6: Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 for scheduling, resource allocation, and delay analysis.
  • Project Scheduling and Time Management: Strong understanding of project lifecycle, critical path method (CPM), and ability to develop and monitor detailed schedules.
  • Cost Control and Budgeting: Ability to estimate project costs, track expenses, and ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Delay Analysis and Problem Solving: Expertise in delay analysis techniques (e.g., Impacted As-Planned, Time Impact Analysis) to identify causes of delays, assess their impact, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Proficient in generating detailed project reports, maintaining documentation, and ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project.
