Job Title: Fence Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Fence Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and pricing details for clients with residential and commercial projects.

Your duties will include placing bids for fence building jobs, submitting detailed labor and materials cost plans, estimating multiple projects simultaneously, and using computer programs to provide accurate project estimates and outlines.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or structural engineering, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience as a construction estimator, preferably with direct experience in the fencing industry.

You will also have strong understanding of construction materials and methods, preferably related to fencing projects, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate project plans and specifications to determine material and labor requirements for custom fencing projects.
  • Adhere to company procedures for accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop bids and proposals.
  • Communicate with clients/team members to gather information and answer questions about the estimate.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of estimates and bid proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in building codes.
