Accounting Professional Required

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, costing, and tax regulations.

The role involves managing all financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring tax compliance. Collaboration with procurement, HR, and operations teams is essential to maintain financial control across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate general ledger, journal entries, and accounting records in compliance with IFRS
  • Prepare and manage financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and customer reconciliations
  • Monitor inventory costing, raw material consumption, and production-related expenses
  • Prepare and submit sales tax, withholding tax, and income tax returns in compliance with FBR
  • Manage bank reconciliations, payments, and cash flow statements
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and implementing cost control measures
  • Liaise with external auditors and oversee year-end audits and compliance
  • Track and report on job-wise profitability, overhead allocations, and project costs
  • Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR and record employee-related expenses
  • Maintain organized filing of financial records, invoices, and compliance documents
Requirements:
  • ACCA (Qualified or Finalist); certifications like ICMA or MBA Finance are a plus
  • 4-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or printing industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, costing, and Pakistan tax regulations
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP, or custom systems)
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
About the Role:

This is a full-time position requiring a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring tax compliance.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Excel are highly desirable.
