This is a senior level role that involves working with various departments to ensure timely procurement of raw materials, equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with departments to procure raw materials, equipment and supplies based on operational needs
  • Conduct market research for data on pricing trends and material availability
  • Evaluate vendors, obtain quotations and negotiate terms
  • Prepare estimated cost sheets and generate purchase orders
  • Verify items meet specifications and quality standards
  • Arrange transportation and customs clearance for prompt delivery
  • Coordinate with service providers for scheduling, expediting and tracking shipments
  • Process vendor payments in a timely manner
  • Make arrangements for returning rejected items
