Our finance department is seeking an expert tax professional to play a pivotal role in maintaining our organisation's financial accuracy. As a key member of the team, you will ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, contributing to our company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analyses of taxes to advise on optimal planning strategies for regulatory compliance.
  • Manage tax audits, inquiries, and notices from tax authorities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions, and other activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination on tax matters.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on financial issues and tax implications.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of tax awareness throughout the organisation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in commerce, accounting, taxation, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in tax management, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Strong understanding of tax planning strategies and indirect tax management, including Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tax management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Leadership experience in managing finance teams.
