Responsibilities

As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing radiological procedures, ensuring the maintenance of relevant equipment, and adhering to safety procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by clinicians.
  • Maintaining equipment and reporting any faults or breakdowns to the supervisor.
  • Conducting daily quality assurance activities.
  • Providing preparatory information to patients pre and post-radiological procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Qualifications:
  • An intermediate degree in Science or a one-year Radiography certificate course from a recognized institute.
  • At least two years of experience as a Radiographer or having completed at least one year of traineeship in Radiography from a reputable hospital.
  • Knowledge of film quality, patient positioning, and general record keeping.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of diagnostic procedures and operation of equipment.
