Role Overview

As a Sales Territory Manager at Telenor Pakistan, you will oversee indirect sales activities within your assigned territory through the franchise channel and convert market opportunities to drive sales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving assigned monthly/annual targets through effective franchise management. This includes:
  • Gross Adds - First Call Activation (FCA)
  • Revenue - Primary & Secondary Recharge
Additionally, you will be expected to deliver business growth and improvement of market share within the assigned territory by providing innovative solutions and strategies.

Your Typical Day:
* Communicate targets and monitor/report progress effectively.
* Visit markets regularly to gather insights and competitor information.
* Plan routes and set targets for Retail Sales Officers (RSOs).
* Monitor profitability and staffing at Franchise end.
* Motivate and train staff.
* Improve ongoing trends (minimum balance retailers, servicing at retail level for FS and GSM).
* Expand retail footprint to increase availability of products and services.
* Monitor channel investments.
* Ensure and improve quality of sales.
* Work on other projects assigned by line manager to constantly improve Sales & Distribution target achievement.

Career Path
This position offers career path options besides growth within indirect sales channel:
  1. Roles within S&D Operations and S&D Planning, which are more geared towards planning instead of day-to-day execution.
  2. Trade Marketing - Regional execution or nationwide planning.
  3. Direct/Corporate selling within Business Solutions department.


Requirements
We're looking for candidates with:
  1. Bachelor's degree with specialization in any field, preferably on the Business side.
  2. Experience in a sales and/or distribution role in an organization with a sizeable distribution network. Experience as a team leader would be preferred.
