Chief Operating Officer - Hospital Management

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a hospital, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the strategic plan. Key areas of focus include:

  • Developing and implementing operational plans to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth hospital operations and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Managing resources and human capital to optimize patient flow and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Leading initiatives for hospital cultural transformation and promoting positivity, teamwork, knowledge sharing, accountability, flexibility, and empowerment.
  • Forging partnerships with communities, educational institutions, and NGOs for health awareness campaigns and medical campus arrangements.
  • Providing leadership support to the Manager Operations and executing preventive maintenance plans for biomedical equipment.
  • Implementing supply chain management through proper planning processes for medical and non-medical items.
  • Maintaining hospitals' financials within budget guidelines and adhering to financial policies and laws.
  • Achieving revenue and profitability targets through high-quality healthcare services and closely monitoring progress.
  • Designing and implementing process improvements, effective purchasing, and optimal resource utilization within budget parameters.
  • Integrating technology into hospital operations via HIMS/SAP and delivering best-in-class medical and nursing care.
  • Executing marketing strategies to promote hospital services and focusing on social media to achieve revenue targets.
  • Implementing ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and ensuring periodic audits meet highest scores with no deviations.
  • Establishing operational plans for best-in-class patient care and ensuring outstanding patient experience in outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Administering quality documentation, managing quality audits, and implementing audit points with Directorate TQM coordination.
  • Executing quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs and adhering to PMDC/CPSP guidelines.
  • Implementing Continuous Medical Education Programs and measuring impact on patient care.
  • Embedding Riphah Mission and Islamic Ethical Values in staff behavior and actions and developing mechanisms to reflect these values.
