Job Title: Food and Beverage Assistant (Multi-Skilled)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring seamless service delivery in the restaurants.
  • Provide consistent quality service for both open seating and assigned seating areas.
  • Serve as a liaison between guests and management to address any issues within your stations.
  • Foster an outstanding dining experience for all guests, with special attention to those with specific needs, dietary requirements, or allergies.
  • Maintain efficient communication with guests and the kitchen during meal hours to ensure a smooth service experience.
  • Properly store equipment when not in use.
  • Report maintenance needs or deficiencies to superiors and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Prepare beverages as required and provide floor service according to business needs.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, manuals, and directives.
  • Minimize crockery and glassware breakages.
  • Maintain company property with respect and care at all times.
  • Practice safe lifting techniques.
  • Attend daily meetings with the Food and Beverage team.
  • Maintain constant communication with service team members and the kitchen.
  • Weigh uniforms with pride.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant certification.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office packages.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Assistant/Waiter/Waitress in a hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of mocktails, cocktails, liquors, wines, and other beverages.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in local language(s).
