Software Quality Assurance Professional

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products. This involves working on end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), conducting various types of testing, and coordinating closely with project leads.

You will write, review, and execute test scenarios manually and using automation tools. Defect tracking, defect reporting, and reproducing are also crucial parts of this role.

Additionally, you will work extensively in mobile testing (iOS and Android) and create traceability matrices, maintain test reports, and other related documents.

This position requires extensive involvement in system integration and user acceptance testing at later stages of SDLC.

Key aspects of this role include utilizing knowledge of testing techniques, types of testing, and test levels at different stages of our products and projects.

Module-wise testing and complete application testing (black box) as per test scripts and requirements specification documents are also important responsibilities.

Requirements & Skills:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Extensive experience in software testing (test-case writing, review, defect reporting, testing strategies)
  • Experience testing complex web applications, Android, and iOS applications (Hybrid + Native)
  • Sound understanding of Software Quality Assurance principles
  • Experience with test automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with agile development methodology and Scrum is a plus
