Senior Accounting Professional

About the Role:
The Senior Analyst, Accounting will report to a senior finance lead and be responsible for managing the accounting aspects of the organization while demonstrating a team spirit, proactive approach, and personal accountability mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approval of all payments, collections, and journal vouchers.
  • Closing of General Ledger (GL) and finalization of trial balances.
  • Preparation of management accounts and monthly closing as per organizational requirements.
  • Preparation of annual, half-yearly, and quarterly statutory financial statements.
  • Responsible for timely completion of audits and review, including fund audits.
  • Funds trial finalization and accounts preparation.
  • Preparation of GL account reconciliations as per organizational requirements.
  • Year-end closing and forms submission as per organizational requirements.
  • Review of weekly/monthly accounts receivable status/report and taking actions for timely recoveries.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with policies and maintenance of proper books and records of the company.
  • Preparation of documentation for banks and taxation purposes.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant background, training/articles completed with a reputable firm.
  • Industry experience of one to two years is preferable.
  • Experience using ERP systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with strong proactivity and personal ownership.
