Job Summary

This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in customs operational processes, including entry operations, tariff classification, customs valuation, and origin of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To provide consulting services as an expert on border improvement project studies.
  2. To contribute to the development and management of people, processes, systems, and external service providers supporting customs functions.
  3. To collaborate with internal business, finance, legal, and tax teams, as well as outside counsel, on matters impacting customs activities.
  4. To engage in business planning activities, controversy resolution, and advocacy functions with government and industry forums.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in international trade, economics, or logistics is required. A master's degree or Ph.D. would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of customs regulations and procedures are essential.
  • Relevant experience in customs and trade facilitation, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role, is necessary.
