We are seeking a highly experienced Information Security Engineer to join our team and oversee the implementation of Information Security Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and overseeing compliance across multiple areas, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

The responsibilities of this position involve:

  1. Developing and implementing information security controls to protect the organization's assets.
  2. Collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen the organization's risk management processes.
  3. Designing and implementing data privacy initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Contributing to the establishment and management of a formal Information Security GRC and Privacy Program.
  5. Partnering with cross-functional teams to support an effective privacy program.
  6. Leading risk assessments and supporting efforts to achieve key certifications such as ISO 27001.
  7. Managing a security awareness training program to foster a strong security culture within the organization.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Information Security Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, and Privacy.
  • In-depth knowledge of the tech industry's standards and regulations, preferably with SaaS products.
  • Experience in implementing regulatory and compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and ISO2700x.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure technologies.
  • Understanding of global data protection laws, standards, and associated frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
  • An analytical mind able to understand the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CIPM, CIPP/E, PMP are desirable.
  • Expertise in using and integrating Splunk, ELK Stack, XDR, SIEM, and SOAR platforms.
