Green Banking Professional

This role is pivotal in overseeing the Bank's sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and developing innovative green banking products.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement the Green Banking Policy in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct ESG risk assessments in credit proposals.
- Plan, execute, and monitor sustainability projects including renewable energy financing and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Prepare reports for internal and regulatory purposes, including annual green banking reports.
- Maintain databases on green finance disbursements, carbon footprint, and related KPIs.
- Organize awareness sessions, training programs, and promotional campaigns on green products.
- Contribute to the design and promotion of eco-friendly banking solutions (e.g., green loans, solar financing).
- Collaborate with internal teams, NGOs, government bodies, and other stakeholders on sustainability projects.
- Track and report performance indicators such as energy savings, paper reduction, and sustainable financing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel), and ability to manage projects and teams independently are also crucial. Experience in sustainability, green banking, or product development is preferred.
