API Management Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled API Management expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in API Management with Apigee Edge and Apigee X platform.

\

The selected individual will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and exception handling strategies. Strong business and technical experience in requirements gathering is essential.

\

The job requires good experience in designing API proxies, including API Products, Portals, Apps, Admin (KVM, Caches, Flow Hooks, TLS keystore Update, Users and Roles creation, Virtual hosts setup). Experience developing and maintaining API proxies based on consumer needs and enhancing or maintaining existing APIs is also required.

\

The successful candidate will have experience with building reusable shared flows for security, transformation, logging & erroring and Google Stack driver knowledge. Knowledge of software development processes and supporting tools for testing & troubleshooting APIs – Postman is necessary.

\

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of REST APIs/RESTful web services. The ideal candidate will conduct requirements gathering workshops and lead the solution design process.

\

The selected individual will lead technical teams through complex, multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance. Identifying ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, developing and implementing mitigation measures is crucial.

\

Mentorship and training the internal team on design and architecture best practices is also an essential responsibility. Experience with code, configuration, and build management tools such as GIT and Jenkins is preferred.
